what’s next
Once I know what style, the site map and menu breakdown and the content of your site, I then create a concept home and content page for you to view as a jpg file. If it’s a WordPress site I can send you a sample of the template so you can see how all the various elements will look. You can even see how the menus, buttons and links look like! Once you’ve viewed the pages, any changes or suggestions are welcome and I do any final amendments to the design. Once you’re happy with the style, I then go ahead and create the remaining graphics. These are then cut up and the website’s coding created. I then put your site online for you to check, we do any final changes or amendments and then you’re off and running!!
If I’ve created a WordPress site for you, I’ll call and talk you through updating the site. I often will leave a page for you to create with me over the phone so that I know you understand the workings of the content management system (CMS). If your site includes a blog, I’ll take you through creating posts, adding bookmarks, creating categories and what to expect if you receive a response from a client. This usually takes an hour to do, and you’ll see just how simple WordPress is to use. Of course, if you have any problems doing amendments or adding pages in the future, I’m happy to help out and talk you through it again.
I look forward to helping you design your website!
