graphic design
It’s all about the look. If it doesn’t look right, it won’t sell. My job is to help my clients market themselves so that the target audience get the right vibe, see them as professional and want to find out more.
Only recently a poster in the hardware store caught my eye and I had to stop to see what it was about – beautifully laid out, classic, simple and really striking. That’s what it’s all about…getting noticed.
Graphic design isn’t just logos and stationery. It encompasses all print based design from package design to promotional items such as postcards, fliers, calendars, plus signage and advertising.
I’ve created unique milk packaging for Bannister Downs Farm and Ravenhill Dairy, cardboard wrap packaging for Holy Smoke’s pates and fridge-safe stickers for their smoked flesh products, wraps for around jars, wine labels and a heap more.
Promotional materials, signage and advertising go hand in hand. I refer to promotional material as items that help sell your business on a one-on-one level such as posters, brochures, marketing fliers, magnets, calendars and the like.
Advertising refers to other people’s magazines, newspapers and websites whereby you choose the size of the advertisement to promote your business or product and pay a fee to have it included.
Signage helps to back it all up – from huge billboards to vehicle signage, shop frontage and directional signage that helps to navigate the client to your place of business, whether it be with arrows or by website and phone!
The possibilities are endless…in the end it’s all about letting people know you exist and where to find you. That’s where I can help!
